The 86’ (26.2 m) dry dock is covered by a fully watertight and heated building providing good lighting, single & three phase power and a 1 ton (1016 kg) hoist. Cuxton Marina on the River Medway overlooks beautiful countryside and is about 3 miles upstream from the historic city of Rochester. Conveniently located between the M2/M20 motorways we are a friendly and professional marina and everyone who works here is a boat owner. Sharpness Shipyard and Drydock Ltd provides drydocking, repair and general maintenance facilities for vessels of up to 103 metres in length, 14.6 metres beam and 4.7 metres draft. Situated at the head of the Bristol Channel, Sharpness Shipyard and Drydock Ltd operate and manage one of the few drydocks remaining in the south west of the United Kingdom able to offer the shipowner a competitive repair and maintenance facility.

Based on the Greenwich Peninsula, four miles from Tower Bridge, we operate three floating dry docks servicing both commercial and non-commercial vessels. As well as this, we operate a fleet of modern multi-purpose workboats playing a vital role in delivering some of London’s largest marine construction projects. These include the London City Airport extension, Thames Tideway Tunnel, and Fulham Football Club’s riverside stand development.

Blackwater Marina lies on the UK’s east coast in a natural, sheltered harbour between the historic maritime towns of Maldon and Burnham on Crouch. The Continent is a day’s sail away, and London an hour by car or train. The marina has fully serviced pontoon berths for 196 vessels and hardstanding for another 150. In addition, its 100 swinging moorings can offer access at all states of the tide to the region’s best cruising waters and some of the UK’s rarest wildlife.

Butler & Co can be found on the banks of Penpol creek, off Restronguet creek, on the Fal estuary in southern Cornwall. We are based in a beautiful part of the world, with the creek at the front of our workshops and easy access to some of the best sailing in England. What more could we want? On site we have a large 80' x 40' lower shed for storage and projects, joined to a 60' x 25' workshop further up the valley. Nick is a qualified Marine Surveyor and has a Diploma in Marine Surveying passed with Merit in 2008. Nick took specialist modules in GRP/FRP Vessels, Engine Surveys, Yacht & Small Craft Systems and Sea Trials. Nick has written and marked exams for the IIMS Diploma in Marine Surveying and occasionally guest-lectures on the Solent University Degree Course on Marine Surveying and Yacht Production.
