Blackwater Marina

Blackwater Marina lies on the UK’s east coast in a natural, sheltered harbour between the historic maritime towns of Maldon and Burnham on Crouch. The Continent is a day’s sail away, and London an hour by car or train. The marina has fully serviced pontoon berths for 196 vessels and hardstanding for another 150. In addition, its 100 swinging moorings can offer access at all states of the tide to the region’s best cruising waters and some of the UK’s rarest wildlife.

Sharpness Shipyward & Drydock

Sharpness Shipyard and Drydock Ltd provides drydocking, repair and general maintenance facilities for vessels of up to 103 metres in length, 14.6 metres beam and 4.7 metres draft. Situated at the head of the Bristol Channel, Sharpness Shipyard and Drydock Ltd operate and manage one of the few drydocks remaining in the south west of the United Kingdom able to offer the shipowner a competitive repair and maintenance facility.

Sherborne Wharf/Hockley Port Dry Dock

Sherborne Wharf Marina is situated in the heart of Birmingham. It is located on the Oozles Street loop on James Brindley’s original old ‘Main Line’ canal. Birmingham boasts more canals than Venice! It is in the heart of the canal system in England and therefore Sherborne Wharf offers the ‘adventurous boater’ extensive cruising routes and links to other canals on the system.

The Historical Sailmaker

A traditional sailmaker that uses flax, hemp, cotton and modern materials to create historically correct sails and covers. The Historical Sailmaker also demonstrates to public and museums regarding skills and tools used through the ages in all things to do with sails, rigging, ships and shipboard life.
