We have a traditional boatyard located on the edge of the Lake District. We specialize in the building of traditional wooden boats and yachts with facilities in the yard for boats up to 40ft. Restorations and maintenance on all types of wooden vessels undertaken in-yard or in situ. We also have extensive engineering capabilities; fabrication and machining as well as coded welding with a speciality in steam power. Patternmaking and fittings recreation with close relationships to high quality foundries and supporting trades.

We supplied all of the IMO Approved, fire rated wall and ceiling panels and a B15 rated fire door that were recently installed into the Maid of the Loch paddle steamer on Loch Lomond, near Balloch. All of our products are fully IMO Approved for installation into Passenger Ships, meaning that they can also be installed into Historical ships. Our regatta, now in its 32nd year, is exclusive to classic, vintage and traditional yachts, and runs from April 17 - April 23 2019. It is the largest regatta for classic yachts in the Caribbean. Based at Antigua Yacht Club, our regatta is world renowned for our consistent trade wind sailing, our safe and gentlemanly racing, our hospitality, and our parties ashore are legendary. Amongst other events, we offer 4 days of racing, with an optional single handed race as an extra, and a prize giving ceremony in the UNESCO World Heritage site, Nelson’s Dockyard. Dockage is included in our entry fee
