Scarborough Maritime Heritage Centre
The Scarborough Maritime Heritage Centre is at 36 Eastborough, Scarborough (open Wednesday to Sunday 11am till 4pm, entrance is free). A small changing exhibition area is complimented by an archive of documents, maps, photographs and artefacts about Scarborough and the Yorkshire coast's maritime history.

North East Maritime Trust
The coast of the North East of England from Berwick in the north to Whitby and beyond in the south, has an extremely rich maritime, historic and cultural heritage. The Trust was formed to make a positive contribution to the renewal of interest in traditional seagoing activities in the region. The main emphasis is on the care, maintenance, restoration and reconstruction of wooden vessels.
