At Wise we design, build and supply material handling equipment, specialising in mobile lifting and traveling solutions for the marine and industrial sectors. We also provide support and service for our and other machines including training and development. The diciplines required to produce the solutions to customers problems has led to the development of a range for boat handling and marine applications, providing an extensive range of options for recovery and launch from slipway and/or finger piers. This is accompanied by our range of boat transporting and storage solutions.

We are a family owned and run marine services business established in 1986. Located on the Hoo Creek on the River Medway, we are only 8 miles from Garrison Point, 35 minutes from the Blackwall Tunnel, 60 minutes from LeShuttle and 20 minutes from Junction 2 of the M25. We offer a full range of marine and brokerage services. From working slipways to tugs, engineering to restoration, brokerage to sales, whether it be buying and restoring a 100ft classic boat or buying a mirror dinghy, our philosophy is to treat all our clients as individuals.

Whixall Marina lies on the Prees Branch of the Llangollen Canal, part of the Shropshire Union Canal. The Llangollen runs from the Shropshire Union main line, around 19 miles to the north east, to Llangollen around 25 miles to the West, and crosses the breath-taking and famous Pontcysyllete Aqueduct along the way. Road access is from the M6 and M54 motorways and the market towns of Wem and Whitchurch are just a few miles away.
