On the 2nd February 1902 the first Dan Trout became Harbour Master on Topsham Quay, an unpaid post, which came with a 5 bed Maisonette and a Workshop in which to earn a living, now the Lighter Inn Bar but with Gates for security! Now - experts in the latest marine engineering and repair work, we continue to work with motor and sail boats. Lucas Sails has been in continuous family ownership since 1884.
We still have the skills to make traditional sails, hand finished in Clipper Canvas or Duradon as well as technical cruising sails in Dacron and Polyester.
We also manufacture awnings in Acrylic or F/R Dacron with support structures - CAD designed with full engineering load analysis for shading for traditional craft and Superyachts.

Vitesse Marine Ltd has been a quality supplier of professional marine solutions to the trade since 2002. With specialist expertise in marine coatings and engineering based products, including power train, manoeuvring and anchoring systems. Our trade counter at Fareham is open during normal office hours (8.30am to 5.30pm) for collections.

Vintage Supplies was established in 1971 by Paul Beck to supply parts for the restoration of veteran and vintage vehicles. Over the years the company's wide product range expanded to cover post-war vehicles and the business grew as Small Ford Spares was established in 2000 and the Complete Automobilist acquired from Colin Crabbe in 2005.

Founded in 1967, our aim has always been to provide quality restoration of instruments and dashboard fittings. We do not deal with other items, in order to concentrate our efforts on one aspect of the vehicle restoration.

In 2015, VIKING acquired Nadiro A/S, a company formerly owned by maritime and energy conglomerate Maersk Group and SH Group. Nadiro manufactures a range of patented Drop-In-Ball™ technologies, which is a unique system for lifeboat hook systems. Systems are compliant with MED, USCG and NORSOK R-002 standards as well as the EU Machinery Directive. The company was founded in Denmark in 2009. In 2014 Nadiro’s rescue boat division “Boat-In-A-Box” was divested to SH Group and the name was changed to Xervo.
