History

KENILWORTH was built in 1936 for the Grand Union Canal Carrying Company (GUCCC).  When British Waterways took over the GUCCC, the vessel stayed under their ownership as a maintenance boat until she was bought by a private owner in 1992.  Since then she has remained under private ownership.
