Saturn sails was established in 1979 by Colin and Shelia McKenzie and John Highcock. Both Colin and John have over 40 years of sail making experience, and have been sailing a variety of boats since childhood. John is a regular face at keelboat regattas and offshore events both around the UK and further afield with many national, and international titles to his name. Greg Pitt joined the company in 2008 bringing his experience and skills to our sail making team.

Sartech has always been about EPIRBs and related safety equipment. Established in 1989, we pioneered handheld beacon testers and have equipped radio surveyors, beacon manufacturers and service stations around the world.

Since 2005, we have been operating from Redhill in Surrey, not far from London’s Gatwick Airport. We share our premises with our sister company Kilo Marine Electronics Ltd, who provide surveys, sales and service of communications, navigation and safety electronics for deep sea vessels world wide.

Our on-site Salterns Chandlery is open 7 days a week, stocking an array of marine hardware, paddleboards and watersport toys making it a port of call for all your boating needs. The Marina fuel pumps are located directly in front of the chandlery and are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Our Berth Holder and Marina visitor’s coffee corner provides a welcome refreshment with a superb view before heading out on the water to explore the harbour and the surrounding coastline.  Finally the seasonal ‘Deck at Salterns’ is open from March-October each season.
