Sandbanks Yacht Co. welcomes you to our stunning new Club, Gym and Boatyard on the beautiful Sandbanks Peninsula. Redeveloped on the original Sandbanks Yacht Co. site established in 1957, the club retains its heritage whilst appealing to a wider audience.

Suffolk Sails was started by Jim Welland after partnering Clarence ‘Austin’ Farrar at Seahorse Sails and later Austin Farrars Sailmakers. Suffolk Sails started life in a small workshop next door to Robertsons boatyard on the river Deben in Woodbridge, liable to flooding it wasn’t long before the loft moved to it’s current premises down river next door to the famous Tidemill in Woodbridge, Suffolk.

Currently owned and run by Simon Scammell, joining Suffolk Sails in 1998.
