Learnt to sail with the Scouts at Brighllingsea sank a mirror on my second day with a wayfarer would have missed had the instructor not grabbed the tiller!

Hope to attend either the IBTC or Lyme Regis Boat Building Academy shortly although I have been saying this for ten years so do not hold your breath. I am a good cook especially with limited ingredients and have a PhD in washing-up

Have sailed the Med Greece, Turkey, Croatia. Far East, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore (Changi Yacht Club)
UK Solent, IoW Guernsey, Fecamp interesting harbour approach. Prefer warmer weather but do swim in the sea in February so not averse to the cold
