Holyhead Sailing Club, is a Community Interest company, keeping the interest of the members to the fore. The club offers facilities for Dinghies of various designs with a dinghy park, Squibs and yachts with swinging moorings serviced by our club launches. Our training centre provides training for both adults and cadets and the club has some dinghies which can be used by members who have been approved. Our cruising section organise cruises in company to various locations and our club racing runs on a regular schedule. The club also runs regular racing for the various classes with SB 20s and

Mark McGarry has been involved with sailing yachts and motor boats since an early age with a background of mostly racing, but over the years having cruised UK waters, the Caribbean and Mediterranean. He currently owns and races a Fife one-design and is presently restoring a 16’ open motor launch. Mark McGarry has now worked for 40 years in the marine trade, 16 years of which was for a large North Wales boatyard, latterly as the yard repair manager, the last 24 years as a full time marine surveyor.
