The proprietor Graham Barnes started this chandlery in 1972. The shop is an old sail loft in Ladybee Marina which is inside lock gates in Shoreham Harbour. Although the old shop has seen better days, inside is packed with everything you need to equip or repair your boat. With over 30 years of product knowledge, Graham can advise you on just about every boat problem. Apart from chandlery, we supply dingy’s, outboards, liferaft servicing ,rope and wire splicing ,gas equipment and luxury bbq’s.

Greenwich Maritime Institute

The Greenwich Maritime Institute offers postgraduate education in Maritime History. The MA degree programme focuses on maritime history since the late 18th century, with an emphasis on developing student skills in historical research. The programme is particularly aimed at those with an existing interest in the more recent maritime past who are keen to deepen and broaden their knowledge, and to investigate problems through individual research. It will also be relevant to those with a first degree in history or a related discipline who want to develop maritime history expertise.
