Classic Boat Centre Trust

We are an exciting and award winning all weather attraction based on the waterside in the Isle of Wight. We are able to offer a fascinating collection of sailing and power boats of local and national interest to both family visitors and maritime enthusiasts alike. Displays include photographs, films, tools, artefacts, models, books and many other items associated with the history of boating over the past century. Cowes Maritime Museum

Entrance to Cowes Maritime Museum is free of charge. From ship building to sailing Cowes Maritime Museum introduces the town’s important history. On display are model boats, photographs and artefacts. Cowes Maritime Museum also has a large archive of photographs and plans. The archive is held off site and is available to researchers by appointment. The museum has a small exhibition area that currently displays model boats from the Maritime Collection.
