Marintec

Marintec was set up in 1983. The founder trained on the Clyde at McGruers and Caterpillar Engines, Glasgow.
We are a full member of YDSA and can offer measurement and MCA certification. Marintec offers surveying and consultancy services for both the structural aspects of the vessel and the systems, such as electrics and engines and their supporting components, together with plumbing and ventilation.

We can provide project management for either complete restoration or specific parts of a restoration, together with sourcing materials and components. Marintec have been involved with a number of historic vessels, both sail and power, built in timber and riveted iron/steel.
