Le Tonkinois Varnish

Le Tonkinois Varnish is made in the traditional way, using Linseed Oil, Tung Oil and natural resins. It sinks deep into the timber, feeding the wood and bringing out all the natural colours. Le Tonkinois has a very high resistance to UV. It is 100% waterproof and remains flexible, so will never crack or peel. Because it is oil based, it is suitable for use on all materials, including oily wood like teak and iroko. Unlike most modern varnishes, it contains no solvents, therefore it is slower drying, allowing all the brush marks to disappear. The result is a fantastic finish, which will far outlast most modern varnishes.
