The Laurent Giles Archive includes more than 1000 historic designs of sailing yachts and power craft from as far back as the late 1920s. Full plan sets and individual copies are available for new construction or refit projects, or for research purposes and general interest.
With bases in the UK and New Zealand, Laurent Giles' team of naval architects and design engineers continue to make significant contributions in the field of historical craft. Having the necessary experience with traditional construction materials, rig design and overall design philosophies, we can contribute to the development of any suitable project.
Our skills encompass the design and classification of tall ships and sail training ships, as well as other commercial and private vessels which will be for commercial use, private, charitable or public ownership or as working vessels, props in TV and Film industry or static exhibits.
