Dr. Dan Atkinson is Headland's in-house maritime specialist. Headland offer a wide range of heritage advice in relation to historic vessels; from consultation in the preparation and delivery of conservation and management plans to the research and survey (both traditional and digital) of all manner of historic vessels. In addition, Headland also undertake the assessment, evaluation, excavation and survey of vessel remains located on land, in the inter-tidal zone and underwater.
