Cox’s Boatyard offers high-quality boat building, woodworking and servicing expertise to both large companies and private individuals. Its skilled workforce carries out year-round maintenance and repair on all types of craft, but particularly specializes in the repair and restoration of wooden vessels. Services include engine and mechanical repairs, hull and decking repairs (wood and GRP), rigging, interior fittings and upholstery, glazing and electrics, all of which are carried out in a state-of-the art new workshop. The team’s specialist skills have also been used in the construction of extremely successful floating nest rafts for birds.

Cox’s is one of the Broads’ oldest established businesses and constantly invests in new equipment to extend the yard’s facilities for boat repair and for its use as a marina and dinghy park, with 280 spaces for boat storage and moorings, including 176 water berths. Recent developments include the new workshop, a new shower and toilet block, the installation of an environmentally friendly boat wash-down facility and the acquisition of a bespoke remote-controlled boat mover.
