BMT Nigel Gee is one of the world's leading independent marine design consultancy providing a wide portfolio of services for specialised vessels with an established background in both yacht and advanced commercial vessels.

Based in Southampton, BMT Nigel Gee was formed in 1986 and has been part of the BMT Group since 2001. The company has an outstanding track record in the design of vessels to meet exacting specifications for weight, speed and sea-keeping with a design portfolio that extends to over 150 vessels which have been constructed, ranging in size from 9m to 220m in length. In addition the company has undertaken many retrofit and refit design packages.

BMT offers a one stop solution for the customer. From early concept design, naval architecture and detailed production design through to survey, construction support and inspection, BMT has the commercial and technical skills and capability to offer a high quality engineering service.
The company has a proven record of managing complex and innovative design briefs from feasibility through to detailed design and production. BMT Nigel Gee Ltd is accredited to quality standard ISO 9001:2001.

There are over 60 staff at BMT Nigel Gee, comprising qualified Naval Architects, Programme Managers, Marine Engineers and Draughtsmen covering the full range of disciplines to provide a comprehensive engineering service.
