History

Built in 1932 by J. & A. Inglis, Pointhouse, Glasgow, LV 87 is a Trinity House light vessel with a composite hull, being clad in wood below the waterline. She was ship to be fitted with a radio beacon, the masts being positioned at the extreme ends of the hull to carry the long aerial. 

She was first sent to East Goodwin station in 1933, and her later history is unclear.
