History
Built in 1935, CLEMATIS is a narrowboat with an Armstrong Siddeley AS2 engine installed in 1955. Her elm bottom was replaced by steel in 1988. Wooden cabin has also been replaced with a steel one. She spent her working life in the service of Fellows Morton & Clayton and was bought by her present owner in 1970. She is based at Moore, Warrington on the Bridgewater Canal.
