History

CINNAMON LADY is the 4th Good Hope ketch built to a Maurice Griffiths design by Purbrook Rossiter, Christchurch, Hampshire for the Rev. C. Curry. It was built of iroko and pitch pine. The design was modified in build, lengthening the hull by approximately 30” by Maurice Griffiths.

It was then sold to Mr. S. Wiles and later to M. and P. Miller of Feock, Truro in 1993. CINNAMON LADY was then based in Falmouth and was well maintained. In 2008, the boat was purchased by P. Gregson of Wooden Ships yacht brokers, Dartmouth.

CINNAMON LADY was purchased by the current owner in Autumn 2019.

The boat has been changed very little since her build, the forward heads extended and fixed stern davits removed. The boat was re-engined in 2005.

Update, September 2024: Vessel for sale.
