History

LINDY HELEN built by JH Taylors and Sons Chester, she was bult as a broads cruiser to narrow boat specification and commissioned by T Smault. Used a hire boat as one of a pair and sold to Mr Stephensons in 1972 and restored by a gerna, shipwright in 2002. Converted with Lister SR2 air cooled diesel and restored using mahogany carvel on oask frames.  J H Taylor made 12 vessels.  Others called BARBARA JOAN and TEAL which is currently in the Boat Museum. Believed to be known to be only one to be fully functional and now lived aboard.
