NUMBER 3 is a barge built by Richard Dunston of Thorne in 1956 and is a vessel of steel construction with a Volvo Penta TAMD 120A diesel engine. Was used to carry coal on the Aire and Calder navigation for Hargreaves and used to carry coal to Ferrybridge power station.
The vessel is currently being converted for use as a live aboard house boat.
