History

SLAINTE MHATH II is a Bermuda Ketch motor sailer built in 1938  by William Weatherhead of Cockenzie and is a vessel of  redwood construction with a Ford 6D Sabre engine. Aboard there is a plaque stating the vessel served with the Royal Navy from 1939 to 1945. Owned by Mr Henry J Foster, owned her from approx 1968 to 1993. The present owner has carried out extensive renovations and the vessel is now structurally sound.
