History

BARBARY T was originally a Harbour Launch/Steam Pinnace of double diagonal teak and oak construction and was built by Gill & Son at Chatham in 1910. After service with the Royal Navy she became a coal and fish bait cargo vessel in the Bristol Channel. She was later converted for use as a houseboat.

As of September 2023, she has been recently purchased by her current owner and has went through a refit at Rolt's Boat Yard in Bristol, which included a new deck, wheelhouse, stem and transom, rubbing strakes and electrics.
