History
SQUIRE was built as a BCN Day Boat, a narrow boat of iron and steel riveted construction and was built by Eli Aston at Tipton in 1896. The hull was substantially rebuilt in 1929, modifications carried out in 1976 converted her to a cargo carrying motor boat and in 2009/2010 she was shortened to 57ft 4 ins by removal of defective section, re-riveted and a new cabin fitted for pleasure cruising.
