RANGE SAFETY LAUNCH 1650 was built by Thornycroft, Southampton in 1955 and is a vessel of double diagonal timber construction with twin Rolls Royce C.6 FLM engines. She served with the RAF until 1976 and is now ashore at Hythe Marina Village, Southampton as a display piece.
