History

Built in 1889 by Edwin Clark & Co, Brimscombe, Gloucester for Salter Bros, Oxford and first named OXFORD, this is a passenger vessel with a capacity for 141 passengers. She was sold to J T Phelps of Putney in 1921 and renamed GAIETY. Subsequently she was sold to Bowers & Phelps in 1927/28 and was later based at Evesham and operated on the River Avon. She was bought by her present owner in 1988 and is currently out of service at Windsor.
