History

The narrowboat LUPIN was built by Fellows, Morton & Clayton Ltd. at Saltney, Birmingham, in 1914. In 1949, LUPIN was purchased by BTC (D&IWE), SE Division fleet (no 226). In 1952, LUPIN was sold again and a full length cabin conversion was fitted. By 1991, she was restored as a cargo carrying boat and in 2018 she was still being maintained in cargo carrying form.
