THE HAMPSHIRE ROSE is a Rother Class lifeboat of double diagonal mahogany construction with twin Ford Thornycroft diesel engines and was built between January 1973 and September 1974.
The vessel served as the Walmer lifeboat from 1974 to 1990 and passed to the RNLI relief fleet until 1992 when she was sold out of service.
