History
FORGET-ME-NOT is believed to have been built by Sephtons in Coventry in 1908. She is floating and currently based on the Grand Union canal. It is believed that the vessel is similar to FRIENDSHIP, a dry exhibit at Ellesmere Port. In 1957 FORGET-ME-NOT joined historic vessel MABEL to be used as a hotel boat.
In 2000 during dry docking, she was caulked and blacked and had the stern end of her keelson replaced. Similarly, in 2009, she was dry docked at Hatton to be caulked, blacked and patched up - all traditional methods and materials were used. The vessel's cabin conversion was removed the same year.
Update, August 2023: Vessel currently for sale with sister vessel MABEL.
