History

VIKTORIA is a Leeds and Liverpool canal longboat, a narrow boat of iron plate construction built by W J Yarwood of Northwich in 1934 for H R Ainscough. When trade finished she worked carrying coal to Westwood Power Station in Wigan. Her last role was as a floating drydock. The vessel was one of only a small number of Leeds and Liverpool longboats built and in 2011 was undergoing a full restoration.
