History

FERRY KING was built by Camper & Nicolson, Gosport in 1916 as a ferry and sold to Blue Funnel Ferries in the 1950s when she was converted to diesel. She was then sold to Ireland and operated as a river ferry vessel in the 1980s. She remains in Ireland and is to be fully restored to a private vessel.
