History

Built as the JAMES WILLIAM AND CAROLINE COURTNEY ON515 in 1904 by the Thames Ironworks and Shipbuilding Company.  This is a Watson Pulling and Sailing Class lifeboat, stationed at Polkerris from 1904 to 1922. She was converted to a yacht in 1927 with a schooner rig and a new cabin. She is now known as GREY FOX.

Visited by the team in June 2022, she is now sitting in the mud in Erith and in a very poor condition.
