History
Built by J S White as the CYRIL & LILIAN BISHOP; a 35ft 6 Self Righter fitted with a single Weyburn AE6 35hp petrol engine. Took part in the evacuation of Dunkirk. Converted to a Fishing Vessel. Underwent restoration in France.
1st July 2016 after 66 years the lifeboat returned byroad from France to Hastings for restoration, having been purchased by two local Hastings men. On 17th June 2017 the restored lifeboat was pulled through the Old Town of Hastings to her final resting place; she is on a purpose built dry dock in the Old Town on view for all to admire.
