1st July 2016 after 66 years the lifeboat returned byroad from France to Hastings for restoration, having been purchased by two local Hastings men.  On 17th June 2017 the restored lifeboat was pulled through the Old Town of Hastings to her final resting place; she is on a purpose built dry dock in the Old Town on view for all to admire.
