History
Built in 1954 by J Bolson of Poole, THE MINESWEEPER is a Ham class minesweeper of timber construction. She was sold for breaking in 1971 and a salvage project began in 1997. The fore deck has been redecked and a large room has been built on the mid-deck. She is the last triple carvel construction vessel on the Thames and one of the few remaining Ham class minesweepers.
