History
Built 1934 by Yarwoods, Northwich, BACUP is a motor barge which was employed on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal. Originally powered by a Widdop engine and later by a Lister diesel, she has an iron hull and remained in service until 1982. She is now preserved afloat at The National Waterways Museum, Ellesmere Port
