History

Built in 1958 by Macduff Engineering for J Flett of Findochty, CHALLENGE is a fishing vessel first named TRANSCEND BCK75. She later became INTREPID OB280, before adopting her present name.

After 50 years in the fishing industry it was bought by the current owner and over a five year period was restored and converted for private use. During the last 10 years the vessel has been cruised extensively around the UK and Ireland as well as a foray into the Netherlands and has been much admired wherever it has been.

Update, December 2024: Vessel for sale.
