Help Excelsior Buy a New Chart Plotter
Since 1988, The Excelsior Trust has been taking people out to sea, both adults and young people. We have taken over 11000 trainees on life-changing adventures since we began operation. The experience makes a huge difference to the people who get to come on board, and in 2024 we were awarded the Sultan Qaboos Trophy by Sail Training International for outstanding contribution to sail training and youth.
All proceeds of our day sails go towards continuing to keep this special vessel afloat, and making it affordable for young people to be able to come sailing with us. We are also dedicated to offering the sailing experiences to not so young people too, and run annual adventures open to all.
But we can't do any of this without effective navigation, and our old chart plotter has now been unavoidably retired. We need your help to raise money for a new one, so that we can continue our voyage calendar safely. We need to raise £4,000, and we need your help!
