In celebration of Lady Daphne's time in Charlestown Harbour, a new publication is to be released in Spring 2025 - Tales From The Hold. The owners of Lady Daphne collaborated with local writers, young and old and now their stories are all together in the book.
The 1923 Thames Sailing Barge Lady Daphne - who was one of last year's NHS-UK Flagships of the Year - is returning to the East Coast after nearly three years at Charlestown Harbour, Cornwall. She joins the Tiller & Wheel CIC historic vessel fleet and will be the Flagship for an exciting development for barge heritage in Rochester, from where she was launched more than 100 years ago.
