The award is presented to an individual, small group involved with a vessel on the National Register of Historic Vessels, or volunteers of projects featured on the Shipshape Network. Nominees should have made a significant contribution to the conservation of the UK's maritime heritage. This could include activities related to operating and maintaining historic vessels, public engagement, replica builds or supporting traditional skills in the sector. Entries must focus on the achievements of the volunteer(s).
