Kathleen & May
Martyn Heighton visited core collection topsail schooner Kathleen & May in both September and November 2006 in order to discuss her future as part of the regeneration of Bideford.
Golden Galleon
Simon Stephens and Martyn Heighton paid a two day visit to this designated vessel; a Fairmile B motor launch, along with our consultant Eric Kentley. Unfortunately, this vessel was being scrapped and the team made a special visit to ensure that she was officially recorded and photographed before being lost.
Doris
The team also visited this Broads motor-powered houseboat/private pleasure craft and found that she was an impressive example of careful and dedicated restoration by private owners.
Excelsior
Simon Stephens, Martyn Heighton and Eric Kentley visited Excelsior which is lying in Lowestoft . This sailing smack is a remarkable project which is delivering a sustainable business plan through extensive day and short-cruise hire involving young people, youth offenders and the prison and probation services.
