News & events
This page aims to provide current information about historic vessels. We believe that it essential to make people aware of news and events with publication on the web. Therefore we are encouraging you as fellow owners, organisations and enthusiasts to submit any items promoting the historic ships fleet. These can range from funding announcements, updates on restoration projects, as well as selected events involving historic vessels in the UK.
If you would like to submit your event for inclusion on our site, please complete our events form, or send your news to Paula Palmer.
Use our search form to search for selected events in the UK involving historic vessels.
We rely upon you to keep us up to date, making these pages both informative and current, although we cannot promise to include everything that is submitted.
Website warning
At the moment, a Google search for 'National Historic Ships' will bring up our old website - www.nhsc.org.uk - before our current one. The old site has now been bought by a third party unknown to us. Consequently, we have no control over, nor responsibility for, any of its content. We would be very grateful for your help in spreading the word that the official website of the Advisory Committee on National Historic Ships is here, at www.nationalhistoricships.org.uk.
