History

Built by Hawthorn Leslie at Hepburn and launched on 6 April 1944, this vessel was known as NSC (L) 19 in 1945 and later LANDFALL when she was sold out in 1948. She is the last surviving World War II Landing Craft Tank. She was berthed at Salthouse Dock, near Pier Head, where she became the Master Mariners Club in 1947. Over the years, however she fell into disrepair and has lain abandoned.
