History

Built in 1935 by Harland & Wolff, Woolwich, JUNO is a narrow boat of composite construction with a Lister HA4 diesel engine. It is believed she was once owned by Chocolate Charlie on the Bourneville run. She retains the authentic look of her class and time and is one of a decreasing number of narrow boats to still have a composite hull.

These brief histories are compiled from details supplied by vessel owners and enthusiasts and from various reference works. National Historic Ships would be grateful for any corrections of facts or additional information for inclusion. Please contact ron.ellis@nationalhistoricships.org.uk
